Revive
Revive is a community project, which provides free practical and emotional support to refugees and people seeking asylum.
Revive provides a range of high-quality services, including friendly drop-in services offering advice, guidance and support on immigration, housing, healthcare, education; emergency provisions, specialised casework, advocacy and volunteering opportunities.
Revive manages the two service hubs in Beswick and Salford, and will, in addition, offer specialist one-to-one OISC level 2 legal advice and social work support by referral or by appointment at their Manchester office or by outreach.
Services are provided free of charge to individuals regardless of race, religion or gender. REVIVE accepts self-referrals and referrals from other agencies.
Revive was founded by the Spiritans, British Province, and has been supporting the refugee and asylum community since 2002.
The Services involve:
- Generic casework
- OISC (immigration) casework
- Social work support
- Emergency provisions
- Volunteering Opportunity
- Social network and support for the refugee community
- Community integration and enrichment programmes
- English for Speakers of other Languages (ESOL course)
- Wellbeing and Employability (including IT) course
Referral Process:
Revive accept self-referrals and referrals from other agencies, and usually seen during drop-in services.
